In the fall of 2001, Ben LaFleur opened his mouth to sing… As of 2015, he hasn’t shut it yet. “Being a lead singer, I’m always aware that the singer is the focal attention of the group and I try to stand out in a good way. I’ve worn the same type of shirts from day one, and I finally got to the point where I felt I could make a better shirt than what the industry was offering ...and then it hit me!” Being an avid hunter, he was looking for a custom-quality unique to market line that any outdoorsman would be proud to wear. His dream was to develop high quality, unbelievably attractive looking, affordable lifestyle apparel. Fast forward a few years.
Ben & Andy, the company’s founders, couldn’t believe that a shirt they wanted could be so hard to find or make. They conducted some research and discovered something incredible: no one or company was offering what outdoorsman were wanting. Thus Ben and Andy rolled up their sleeves and began working on a shirt concept, making improvements along the way. The founders realized that with a shirt at these prices, there was no way outdoorsmen wouldn’t want to break from the pack, and buy a LaFleur Apparel unique to market shirt.
If you were wondering, we wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Crawford County's latest single "BANG BANG". This song, in a round about way, was the inspiration for our current line. ENJOY!!!

Ben LaFleur- Co Founder
Growing up in south-eastern South Dakota, Ben was involved in just about everything you can imagine, and hasn't changed much today. His current project, Crawford County has released several singles to country radio and has a reality television show in production.
